The
mission of Cincinnati’s Citizens On Patrol Program (COPP) is to work
in partnership with the Cincinnati Police and fellow citizens to improve
civic pride and safety on our streets. Members of the Citizens On Patrol
Program are trained by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) to notice
suspicious activities and recognize signs of potentially unsafe
conditions. The primary role of COPP members is to report these findings
to the CPD. COPP members have NO law enforcement authority or power.
